The recently launched MG ZS EV by MG Motors India offers a range of exciting features and impressive performance. With its Level-2 ADAS technology, it provides advanced driver assistance systems for enhanced safety.
The ZS EV is now available in three different variants, namely Excite, Exclusive, and Exclusive Pro. The top-spec Exclusive Pro variant comes with the Level-2 ADAS technology. The prices for these variants start at Rs 23.38 lakh for the Excite variant and go up to Rs 28 lakh for the Exclusive Pro Dual Tone variant (all prices ex-showroom).
The Level-2 ADAS technology of the MG ZS EV offers three levels of sensitivity (low, medium, and high) and three levels of warning (haptic, audio, and visual). It includes features like adaptive cruise control, bend cruise assistance, traffic jam assist, lane departure warning, emergency lane keep, lane keep assist, front collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic emergency braking – pedestrian, intelligent hydraulic braking assistance, intelligent headlamp control, information mode, manual mode, intelligent mode, blind spot detection system, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change assist.
Under the hood, the MG ZS EV is powered by a 176.75PS/280Nm permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is paired with a 50.3kWh lithium-ion battery. It offers a claimed range of 461km on a single full charge. The charging time is approximately 9 hours (0-100%) with a 7.4kW charger and 1 hour (0-80%) with a 50kW charger.
In terms of performance, the MG ZS EV can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 8.5 seconds. It also offers three different driving modes to suit various preferences and driving conditions, including Eco, Normal, and Sport modes.
