The Dio 125 retains its stylish and aggressive appearance, with only minimal changes in terms of stickers and graphics. It features a unique headlamp design, dual-outlet exhaust, modern taillamps, alloy wheels, and an overall sporty look.
Yogesh Mathur, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India, expressed the company’s commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering a redefined riding experience for customers. The Dio 125 is positioned as a combination of sporty design, advanced technology, and convenience. It boasts cutting-edge features such as a smart key system, start/stop system, silent starter, digital instrument cluster, LED headlights, and dual-function fuel filler.
Honda has incorporated its H-Smart technology into the Dio 125, providing features like smart find, smart unlock, smart start, and smart safe functions. Additionally, the scooter comes with Honda’s Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) system, which optimizes output by maximizing combustion and reducing friction in the engine. The Dio 125 is powered by a proven 125cc motor that offers improved performance, although specific figures have not been disclosed yet.
In terms of pricing, the Honda Dio 125 is competitively priced at Rs 83,400 for the Standard variant and Rs 91,300 for the H-Smart variant. The scooter is available in seven color options. Its main competitors in the market are the Suzuki Avenis and the Yamaha RayZR 125, both of which are priced slightly higher.
