India and the UK have demonstrated their commitment to working together in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and Modernisation during the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry’s visit to London. Goyal noted that the two countries will work together to improve the Indian protocols surrounding Intellectual Property Rights, which will be a progressive process. In addition to Intellectual Property Rights, Goyal also highlighted the active efforts being made to improve Quality Standards in India. This includes the Bureau of Indian Standardization (BIS), which is focused on Non-Food Products, and the FSSAI, which is focused on Food Products. Both organizations are striving to develop robust Quality Standards that are in line with global standards. This demonstrates India’s determination to strengthen its Intellectual Property Framework and adopt modern practices, in collaboration with international partners. This collaboration not only benefits Indian industries but also facilitates Trade and Investment. Taken together, the two countries’ efforts demonstrate their shared commitment to Intellectual Property Rights and the Modernisation of Protocols.
