Recognizing the importance of immediate assistance, school authorities have been directed to furnish helpline numbers that students and parents can readily contact during emergencies. In an ambitious move to broaden the horizons of its students, the Delhi government has launched a pilot project introducing French, German, and Japanese languages in 58 government schools.
