The University of Delhi (DU) has recently released the admission schedule for the undergraduate (UG) programs for the 2023-24 academic year. The university has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admissions, based on the results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG), which were announced on July 15.
The first-semester classes at DU will commence on August 16, as per the university’s statement. The first CSAS admission list will be displayed on the university’s website on August 1. Simultaneously, DU will initiate the CSAS phase 2 application process starting from July 17.
Candidates who have not yet registered on the CSAS portal can do so until July 24. Furthermore, a correction window has been provided for candidates who have already completed Phase 1 and wish to modify certain fields. This correction window will remain open until 4:59 pm on July 20.
The notification states that this is a one-time opportunity for candidates to update their profiles. OBC(NCL), EWS, SC, ST, Minority, and PwBD candidates who wish to re-upload their updated documents/certificates can do so within the Correction Window. However, it is important to note that candidates will not be allowed to edit or modify their name, photograph, or signature.
In addition to the admission schedule, DU has also decided to postpone second-year semester exams for regular, School of Open Learning, and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board students due to flood-like situations in the capital.
According to the revised schedule, the theory exams originally planned between July 17-19 will now be conducted on July 26, August 1, and August 2. Similarly, the practical exams, which were initially scheduled for July 14, 15, and 16, will now take place on August 3, 4, and 5.
