New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University has commenced the online application process for admission to its undergraduate and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs for the upcoming academic year. In an official statement, JNU announced that for the new session, the university will consider Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for undergraduate admissions.
As per the notification released on July 16, JNU stated, “JNU invites online applications for Under Graduate (UG) & Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs for the Academic Session 2023-24.” The online admission window for UG courses will remain open until August 2.
JNU emphasized that CUET scores will be applicable for admission into all its programs, including BA (Hons.) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated Program in Ayurveda Biology, and various Certificate of Proficiency programs.
Candidates interested in pursuing JNU’s BTech course in the upcoming session will be required to appear for JEE Mains.
Recently, the National Testing Agency announced the results of CUET-UG, which stands as the country’s second-largest entrance exam. Over 11.11 lakh candidates participated in the second edition of this significant examination.
