According to the Chief of the University Grants Commission (UGC), M Jagadesh Kumar, approximately 14 lakh students are eagerly awaiting the release of their CUET UG 2023 results. In an interview with indianexpress.com, he informed that the results are expected to be published by Monday (July 17) at the latest.
Kumar mentioned that every effort is being made to ensure a prompt release of the CUET UG results, with the National Testing Agency (NTA) working diligently towards this goal. He stated that it is possible for the results to be released even by Sunday, but students need not worry if there is a slight delay of a few hours.
When questioned about the cause of the delay, the UGC Chief elaborated that the extensive size of the database poses a significant responsibility for the NTA. It is crucial to carefully evaluate and compile the data, scores, and other details to avoid any mismatch or omission. This comprehensive process naturally takes time, and although the aim is to release the scorecards as soon as possible, a minor delay is conceivable.
