In Pune, Maharashtra, a 47-year-old moneylender was arrested for allegedly raping a woman after her husband failed to repay the loan he had taken from him, according to the police. The incident occurred in February this year.
The woman’s husband had borrowed money from the accused, but was unable to repay it. In response, the accused reportedly threatened the woman’s husband at knifepoint and then proceeded to rape her in front of him. Shockingly, the accused recorded the heinous act on a mobile phone and shared the video on a social media platform.
Following the incident, the police launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of the accused. He is now facing charges under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.
