In Indore city, Madhya Pradesh, a tragic incident occurred where a 22-year-old B.Tech student, known as Prabhas alias Monu, was stabbed to death. The incident took place in the Vijay Nagar area on Wednesday. Following the incident, the police arrested four individuals, including a 19-year-old female student, in connection with the crime.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abhishek Anand, Prabhas was going to visit the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain with four of his friends when the stabbing occurred.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Tanya, Chhotu, Shobhit, and Hrithik. Tanya, aged 19, hails from Khargone and is a first-year BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) student in Indore. She is also employed at a private company. The other three male suspects have previous criminal records.
The incident unfolded when Tanya and her three accomplices, riding on a scooter, intercepted the car carrying Prabhas and his friends. Their alleged intention was to attack two other occupants in the car, identified as Titu and Rachit. While Titu and Rachit survived the attack, Prabhas, who was seated at the back, tragically succumbed to a severe stab wound near his heart.
Investigations revealed that Tanya had a previous friendship with Titu and Rachit, but due to some undisclosed reasons, they had a falling out leading to this dreadful incident.
