Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 70 projects worth approximately Rs 170.97 crore at Vinod Bihari stadium in Nawadih, Bokaro district. Out of these, 17 schemes worth Rs 23.22 crore were inaugurated, and the foundation stones of 53 schemes worth Rs 147.75 crore were laid. The state IPRD department released an official statement confirming this.
Additionally, Soren distributed various assets to 10,067 beneficiaries and inaugurated the construction of a Model Degree College in Gomia.
Accompanying the Chief Minister was State Excise Minister Baby Devi, who recently joined the cabinet following the passing of her husband Jagarnath Mahto, the representative of Dumri assembly seat. A bypoll is expected for this seat in a few months, and Baby will run as the candidate for the ruling alliance.
During his speech to the audience, Soren expressed his determination to change the fate and image of Jharkhand, stating that despite the availability of resources and capabilities, the state has not made significant progress in the past two decades since its formation.
