Former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad recently provided a glimpse into MS Dhoni’s extensive bike collection at his Ranchi farmhouse. Prasad shared a video on social media, showcasing the former India captain’s impressive garage, filled with bikes and vintage cars.
In the nearly two-minute video, Prasad was accompanied by former India selector Sunil Joshi, while Dhoni’s wife Sakshi handled the camera duties at their Ranchi farmhouse.
Prasad tweeted, “One of the craziest passions I have seen in a person. What a collection and what a man MSD is. A great achiever and an even more incredible person. This is a glimpse of his collection of bikes and cars in his Ranchi house. Just blown away by the man and his passion.”
The video begins with Sakshi Dhoni asking Prasad how he feels being in Ranchi. Prasad responds, “Amazing! Not my first time in Ranchi, it’s my fourth time, but this place (referring to MS Dhoni’s bike collection) is crazy.”
Sunil Joshi is also awestruck by Dhoni’s collection and remarks, “Not my first time in Ranchi, but the first time with the legend. You can’t explain this whole setup.”
During their conversation, Prasad mentions that only someone with a tremendous passion for bikes could amass such a collection. Sakshi agrees, stating, “I would say mad.”
Sakshi then turns the camera towards Dhoni and questions why he accumulated such a vast collection. Dhoni humorously replies, “Because you took everything, and I needed to have something of my own. This is the only thing you allowed.”
The video concludes with one of Dhoni’s friends recounting a story about his first bike and how they used to run out of fuel, calling someone at home to bring fuel in a car.
