Infosys, a leading IT services company in India, has decided to postpone salary increases for employees under senior management. This decision is in response to the current macroeconomic conditions and the difficult conditions facing the IT sector. This is the first time this has been done since 2020 when Infosys had previously postponed pay increases in order to focus on cash conservation. However, the pay hikes were subsequently implemented in January 2021. Employees have been eagerly awaiting further information regarding the timeline of salary increases, as they have been left in the dark as to when they will be eligible for revised salaries.
